  • Not me...I'm not sure what the flag does.

Me either. I'm sure it get's the attention of the admin. but I'm not sure if it has a breakdown of possible complaints (like the old one did) or not. Of course now I can't find any spam to try it out on. : )
  • 1-24-2017 No, but only because there are no flags on questions. It's questions that need to be flagged, not answers.

For the most part I'm going to agree with you, but I have seen answers and comments here that should have been flagged before the new feature appeared lately..

Thanks. I've been busy with other things I have to get done. So I'm curious to find out if it has a breakdown of possible complaints (like the old one did) or not ?

Ice man: you are very welcome and thank you for your feedback. Answers and comments flags have the options: spam, offensive, duplicate, nonsense and wrong category. In the old Answerbag, wrong category was only an option for question flags. This is displayed when you click on the red flag. There is also a button to cancel the report at that time, so you can check it for yourself without actually reporting the answer or comment.

Thank you very much, I didn't want to take the chance of flagging something in error by clicking the red flag. I just had a look and it is exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks again. : )
