Innocent people must not be harmed. If I'm wrong, then name me a situation where intentionally harming innocent people is moral : P People will always come up with some example like: "If there was a bomb about to go off in a crowded area and the only way to stop it was to kill a single innocent person, would you?" So I'll respond before anyone says it... In that case, it is immoral to kill the innocent person, but it is MORE immoral to not kill them. (Some schools of ethics would say it is a situation that you should not interfere with, as it is absolutely wrong to take lives ever, so you should let the bomb go off as if there was nothing you could do, but I don't really agree with that...) The lesser of two evils is still an evil remember ; )

Do not rape.

Well the question actually asked for an absolute moral law that (I) believe must be followed in all circumstances. I believe in do no harm as a moral law and truly try to live up to it although I'm only human (and Pagan btw:)

Although I am very much on the side of situational ethics, I feel it is always wrong to willfully kill another human. Do not kill people, ever, not for any reason. Prolonged torture, is not killing. A person who has been horribly mangled, blinded, burned, severly brain damaged to veggie IQ, broken and totally paralyzed, is still alive. So even if they deserve EXTREME punishment, take anything / everything BUT their life. Not saving someone who is dying, allowing them to die, is not exactly killing.
