  • If it is really bad, you can use a degreasing agent that mechanics use to clean oil of their hands. Use that with a bit of liquid soap and it should come up sparkly and clean.
  • What type of stove? We have a Viking gas stove (which is awesome, by the way). To clean it, I take off the metal things on top and the burners, clean those individually with a sponge and soapy water, then do the same to the bottom where everything spills. I've never needed anything stronger than soap, water, and one of those scrubby sponges.
