Absolutely. Misinterpretation and pride are common. (Misinterpretation being, to some extent, inevitable.)

Many times I make a statement and it becomes misconstrued into something never intended, so I have to mend fences to all innocent parties.

As the self proclaimed king of snarky dry humour, I'd have to say no. Everyone gets my comments. Once again, dry. Yes, I've had it occur many times. At least it's never resulted in physical violence.

Yes. A lot. Unfortunately. My ex used to say I let my ostrich mouth overload my hummingbird a$$. I divorced him, but it still happens.
