In water please. However, after buying fresh tuna down on the docks, canned will never be good enough.
-
Neither. my wife became deathly sick after eating canned tuna in a casserole. tuna is a bottom feeder and eats just about anything off the ocean floor. crustations develop on the bottom of tuna. if these crustations are not cleaned off at the factory, a certain bacteria develops and causes havoc with humans. her blood sugar level dropped to 22. paramedics were called and an iv of sugar water was given, along with antihistamine. this combination worked, really fast. Needless to say, tuna fish is off her seafood list, forever.

Light oil, but I have been eating water-packed sardines for the last couple of weeks because I got them at Sam's for a good price. I try to remain flexible. . Better yet, Portuguese sardines in olive oil with a pepper - so different from Norwegian sardines.
-
Oil. It tastes better, and doesn't interfere with the lipid-iness of the mayonnaise. Tuna packed in water makes my mayo all runny.
-
In brine im on a diet and not allowed the one in oil.
-
I've never had tuna in oil. I;m not a big tuna eater and basically only eat it for the nutritional value aspect. Packing it in oil would defeat the purpose for me.
-
The choice in the UK is usually brine or oil, and I always choose oil as the brine is so salty. I have had some in spring water, which had no flavour so I gave it to the cats.
-
I don't like all the oil but if it's good oil the fish is actually a better quality which is very nice. The fish they use in water isn't as high quality. I find, though if you give the can a squeeze with the lid most of the oil comes out anyway and then I usually add mayo or vinaigrette anyway, but usually have to sue less dressing, It all comes out even and I get a better fish with oil.

I only buy canned tuna in water.
-

-
None cause I'm allergic to Tuna.
-
tuna makes me sick i used to like it in oil though!
-
Water
-
Water. The oil gives the tuna a greasy feel/taste to me.
-
The one in oil is the one I prefer, but I shouldn't because of the extra fat and calories compared to the one in water. Like with all kinds of food: The tasty stuff is the one we shouldn't eat too much. Like a stand-up comedian said once on TV: How can you tell if something you are eating is good for you? Easy....you can tell it is good for you because it tastes bad or it is tasteless!
-
I actually prefer it in a salad...just kidding...I only eat tuna packed in water.
-

-
I love tuna in oil. However I make tuna sandwiches with any kind of tuna. Tuna sandwiches are one of my favorite sandwiches.
-
I don't care as long as its Albacore Tuna.
-
definetly in water
-
I don't like the oil but I find that the tuna is better quality and taste in the oil so that is what I go for if I'm being picky about taste.
-
Definitely in water. When I go to drain the tuna the oil one is very greasy.
-
albacore in water, unless in a good old fashioned tuna/noodle cassarole--then has to be regular tuna in oil--but well drained....
-
Tuna in oil, solid, not chunk.
-
I find tuna to be absolutely disgusting.
-
Never tried it in oil, only in water. Does the tuna in oil taste better?
-
Water, it tastes fresher to me.

-
Tuna in the trash or at least not near me. Don't like it at all.

Tuna in water. It had been about fifteen years since I had bought tuna in oil, and I bought it by mistake a while ago. I had a very, very hard time eating it. I rinsed it under water for a long time just to be able to get it down.
-
I prefer to eat it in jeans and tee shirt.
