  • Until I'm done
  • Depends. Some times I cannot concentrate, others I could read all day long. If you mean a single book, rarely do they last longer than a couple hours if I sit and read steadily.
  • I read until the book is finished unless it is over boring but that only happens about 1 in 500 books.
  • It usually takes me a while to read a book. I'm a slow reader...somehow. I just have to keep going back over the same sentence for some reason. Anyway, that takes a long time. Hell, it took me four months to read East of Eden.
  • Until the last page, usually. I don't read every day, but I get on these kicks where I'll read like 20 books in one week. I can read entire paragraphs at a glance, so it doesn't take me more than a few hours to finish 500 pages or so.
  • From cover to cover. And very often, out loud to my husband as me drive around.
  • It depends on the book, its style, its length, its subject matter, whether or not I have a particular objective in mind, and whether I am reading a number of books at the same time. Sometimes it takes 1-5 days and sometimes a year.
