Probably, I can't find links off hand but I clearly remember having several exchanges with AB Staff over questions which attacked other forms of Christianity and other religions. There are different moderators, so there are discrepancies in what's allowed and what isn't due to human interpretation and opinion I think.

I don't know the questions or answers you are referring to, so I can only speak in generalities. Honest discussion about anything - including religion - any religion - so long as it is fact based, is not just a good thing, but absolutely essential. The reality you have to deal with here is that the Roman Catholic Church has a bloody history, including centuries of oppression and torture. Now, Protestant religions only 'protested' 100's of years after that fact too....so their hands are no cleaner. [as a side note...I put this in only to be clear that my complaints were with religion, not the Bible or Scripture, even if it's not directly related to the question] This doesn't mean there is a problem with Christianity - only those claiming to preach it. In fact, the Bible warns, symbolically, yet quite clearly that false churches will rise (harlot of Babylon), entwined with government (the beast). (Revelations 17) We each need to look at the Bible and honestly seek God - not just entrust that some organization has found the answers, that you can never understand....a mystery....for you. You can find the truth if you want it. It's definitely worth the time seeking it out.
