Considering I live upstairs in a cement block with one thick window that does not have a way to open it, a heavy duty steel door as the only way in or out, and no alarm, I'd have to say no.

The only signs I have are ,"Beware of the dog" which is funny cause we don't own a dog....I'm hoping someone will think we do and leave our home alone.

No. My state has lax concealed carry laws, "make my day" laws, and a naturally low crime rate anyways so even if I lived near a town (or a neighbor) I wouldn't need one.

About 70% of homeowners have alarm systems. of that 70%, 65% have alarm warning signs on their property. The signs come with the alarm installation. I do not have a sign, i have an attack dog.

No. That is just an annoyance to my neighbors. I have nothing worth stealing in my house anyway. I do recomend it for others though I just don't want to be bothered for myself. We live in a really quiet place with good neighbors.
