  • For sheer practicality if you don't care about how it looks, one of those cantilever-style plastic toolboxes, they come in diff. sizes, loads of compartments
  • I hang a lot of mine on the wall. I have some of the necklaces on display and a square of foam framed so I can just poke the earrings in and they stay put. It all looks really pretty on the wall and because I can see everything, I remember what I have and use them more.
  • I took a piece of styrofoam, put a piece of black cotton over it, and criss-crossed red velvet ribbon over it, fastening them with fancy metal pushpins. I can slide the necklaces and bracelets behind the ribbons, push earrings into the fabric, pin pins to the ribbons, and so on. I also fastened a tray that I covered with matching fabric to the bottom of it, in case things fell off, or for things too heavy for the foam. I put it all into a wood knickknack shelf frame and hung it on the wall.
  • If you have silver you need to keep it in an air free environment. Silver tarnishes if not worn regularly but it will stay clean and shiny for longer if kept in an air tight self seal bag with the air squeezed out. For tangled chains once they are unravellled store them separately in a self seal bag for ease. Hope this helps (I'm a jewellery designer so have had to deal with tangles and tarnishing regularly!!) www.silverwiredesigns.com
