Personally, I realize that with the 5 minute rule in affect, that I must proofread my question before I allow it to get posted. I also check to see if it is a duplicate if applicable. I check for grammar & spelling. Contrary to popular statements, people will think lower of you if you present a flaw in your question. we can always go back and edit our answers but the questions are set in stone. Thank you oh ye with the first name as me for recognizing the crucial importance of thoroughly screening questions before posting. Being that a star has 5 points as well as what I shall give you for a question that points this fact out.

I concur. Also, you have to take into account that the window of opportunity for editing a question after you post it is quite small, contrary to an answer. I try to double check after clicking the submit button.
