I do not like any racial stereotype and take exception to them... period. They are all idiotic. If I had to choose the ones I dislike the most, that would have to be the ones about my ethnicity... Rromani. There are so many against us but, if I had to pick one, it would be that we are all thieves. This gives us all sorts of fun, from being denied jobs, to picking up a security "tail" if we go into stores, to being falsely accused if anything around us is stolen by anyone, to being attacked, etc. I think the reason that one bothers me so much is obvious. The fortune telling and palm reading ones are funny if I am in the mood for it. I can REALLY get them going and, at the end, tell them that they are idiots for believing we can all tell fortunes/read palms/etc. The inbreeding, baby stealing, we all live in caravans, we are all hippies, and other miscellany are minor annoyances.

That white males are secret bigots and selfish baskets when it comes to sharing the benefits of modern society. That an interest in, and pride of, European culture is 'eruorcentric bigotism' That Americans are Imperialists at heart.

That Black men are all lazy no good for nothing drug dealers thieves gangstas etc and black females are all crack smoking whores who have 10 kids by almost as many fathers and only want to live off of the hard working taxpayers by collecting a welfare check. I am white but am sick of ignorant assholes that think this is the way all blacks are. I know many African American males who are hard working productive members of society who do what they can to provide fore their families without doing anything illegal. Same goes for the females. Most of them I know have jobs and don't depend on a welfare check to support their kids. I think it is ignorant of anyone to believe this is how it is with a group be they black Chineese Hispanic etc. In any racial or ethnic fgroup you will find the bad if you want to. It makes me sick that more people don't focus attention on finding the good in a group.

I'm of German Heritage, and speak German, so it kind of ticks me off when people automatically associate "German" with "Nazi." It also ticks me off that I can't be proud of being a white American without being called a "Bigot" and a "Racist."

That Black females are prostitutes, uneducated, loud, on welfare, have 30 kids with 30 fathers to match, and have attitudes. I am a black female and I am college educated and in the process of getting a Masters degree. I am not a prostitutes (just for the record we despise prostitutes just as much as any other group). I am soft-spoken, never been on welfare (most of my life I have worked two jobs), and I have no children (I prefer to wait until I get married (yes some of us would like to be married)).I only get an attitude when I am confronted with ignorance. I have many other stereotypes I hate but I will just list these. Obviously, I hate them because they are untrue.

ALL racial stereotyping is pure ignorance, not to mention a base of pathological feelings of superiority which is rooted in fear of others who are not the same as them.

Being a highly-talented software developer, I'm very annoyed by the common belief that Asians and Indians have superior technical skills. I've worked with many professionals from all parts of the world. While I do find the Asians and Indians to be good hard-working programmers and fine well-mannered people, by no means is their talent unchallenged. In fact, the programmers who have impressed me the most are right here in the U.S.A.
