  • That's a question you have to answer for yourself.. No one else can do it for you..
  • This is like an oxymoron. Because there is no proof that God exists so it is a choice whether you believe him or not.
  • Because no one has shown you the way.
  • Free will. It's a choice. Personally, I choose to believe. I'd hate the alternative.
  • When you get to a point in your life where you need to find something to reach out to, religion will be there. UNtil then, you just be. I have been in your shoes and am from a very religious family. Never knew why they felt that way, but the day came when I understood. Just find your own path. Most religions are awesome. Find the one that fits your needs.
  • Why do you question God?, if you really don't believe. There are many ways to believe in God, not all of them consist of church, or how one acts. When you are in serious pain, or trouble maybe then you will need to find out his existance for yourself.
  • "The absence of proof is not the same as proof of absence." S.E.T.I. Since God's existence can not be either proven or disproven, belief and faith are choices made based on emotion rather than logic. "No one person can ever change the truth, but the truth, once learned, can and will change the person." Buddha. You may have heard of God, but you have yet to truly, deeply, learn enough about Him to begin to develop belief.
  • Because that's a pretty massive "If".
  • Whether there is a God or not, you aren't just going to magically believe in him. You have to put in some effort youself, ya know?
  • Because you haven't truly found him yet. No one can do this for you. But he believes in you or you wouldn't be asking this.
  • God is the air that we breath, the earth that we live on and the universe around us, now who will disagree with me? thinking that God is or was a physical being like us at one point or another is just nonsence.
  • What evidence do you have to support the existance of God?
  • I don't know about you, but I was told it is because I don't have any "faith".
  • You are the only one that can find that answer. There is evidence and prove for both sides of the argument. Its all about faith, if you truly wanted to know then you will know. And when you do, you will know with out a doubt in your mind. I believe with faith anything is possible.
  • Here's a clue: "In Psalm 14:1 we read, "The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.'"That's a pretty blunt accusation - that a person who says there is no God, is a fool. Our modern overly-sensitive ears are startled when language like this is used. However, when the Bible speaks of "fools" and "foolishness" it isn't engaging in adolescent name calling. Instead, the word "fool" is used to describe a person who is in a state of moral and intellectual dullness. " http://members.aol.com/BaxterInstitute/Fool.html
  • That's really something only you can answer.
  • “Faith is not a possession of all people.” (2 Thessalonians 3:2)
  • Well, god doesn't make sense. You can't see him or touch him. You can't talk to him. Just like the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.
  • Because you choose not to believe in Him. I could choose not to believe in gravity or that space has no oxygen or I could go out into a highway and say that I do not believe in trucks or cars, but that does not mean that they are not real. -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • why do you say him? i thought it was her?
  • Only you truly know the answer too this Question!!
  • i believe in my Goddess
  • Well, usually it's up to you. But sometimes He does just come along and 'grab' someone. He might 'grab' you one day. Or he might not. Who knows what He's thinking?
  • God exists or does not exist independently of whether you believe in god.. You may not believe in the moon if you are blind and cannot see it but it exists regardless..
  • just because you can't see him doesn;t mean he don't exist. can you see the air you are breathing?
  • Free will!
  • thats your fault. god gives you free will use it wisely.
  • Your answer is in your question. (Heb 11:6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
