Help answer this question below.
No.
Firstly, I am against the death penalty anyway. Killing, other than in immediate defence of life, is always wrong.
But secondly, there have been too many cases when a "certain" conviction was found to have been faulty, or downright wrong, some years later. In the emotion of the time, both police officers and juries are too easily swayed by circumstantial evidence. I do not believe in human perfectibility, and that include the perfectibility of the trial system. Anything man-made *will* occasionally go wrong. If you put people in prison, you can let them out. If you killed them, it is too late.
No. Not atall.
There are many factors you have to think about...The justice system is not 100% perfect..quite alot of people get punished when they are innocent. Also there is no proof that capital punishment prevents serous crimes being committed, infact it seems to increase them. This can be prooved by what happened in canada. In short, if capital punishment was brought back into use in the uk, the only advantage of it would be a cost effective punishment, while there would be many moral issues
No,I think is cruel and unusual punishment and all capital punishment in all countries should be banned.
I think hanging is better than beheading or the gas chamber because the criminal should feel the pain, because he has no doubt caused quite a bit of it.
Yes hanging should be allowed if it isn't already. I was glad to hear when Saddam was hanged. But that wasn't in the UK.
I think it would be good to discourage pedophiles along with castration.
When you write aloud....do you mean in full stereophonic sound?
Or
Do you mean allowed as in permitted?
Regardless
Yes to both!!!
No, I do not think it should be allowed. Capital punishment is the ultimate act of hypocrisy. When capital punishment was banned in the UK, statistics showed it did not discourage crime more than any other punishment.
yes i think it should. if you let people know that they will die if they do a serious might knock some sense into criminals. now days if you take the life of another you are sentence to 45 years in jail (i think) an eye for an eye is what i say.
yes i m completely for the death penalty
If the punishment fits the crime & with out a doubt this person did it. then Yes. Whether the die in jail for a life sentence or now if they have 100% proof take a life give a life. Why should tax payers foot the bill for life in prison.

You're reading Do you think 'hanging' should be aloud in the U.K, if a person was proved to have commited a serious crime?
