  • No, there is no 'price plan'. Private Hospitals can charge more than say a county hospital that gets most of it's funding through the government. DR fees vary as do supplies and room fees. Unfortunately the only price plan that they have to go by is the one set up by the government that pays for the medicaid and medicare people. Private insurance always gets billed more.
  • Not only is there no set price, each thing gets billed separately. For instance, if you have to have a finger sewn back on, you pay for the hospital, the radiologist will bill you separately, the doctors will all bill you separately, and any specialists will do so as well.
