Your talking about the wire that is used in say stringing beads together for jewelry - its ultra fine, super strong - better than string or nylon thread. Right? http://www.wigjig.com/jewelry-tools/WJU/techniques/measures/pg03.htm for gauges http://www.firemountaingems.com/accuflex.asp might be helpful http://www.artisticwire.com/ might help. Might just want to do a search for Jewelry Wire and/or any of these words from this phrase: Bead And Jewelry Making Supplies. Lastly a lot of craft stores will sell wires of various types, all lumped together under the generic term of "craft wire". I hope this helped.

Craft shops have all sorts of stretchy strings for bracelets. I have seen everything used from hat elastic to a type of stretchy rubber. I haven't see this spring string, but I am sure it is available.
