Look in a mirror. If you are fat they are lying, if you are not, they are telling the truth.

Weight and mesure yourself, and calculate your BMI, for instance here: http://www.halls.md/body-mass-index/av.htm Buy one of these Fat-meter to measure the proportion of fat in your body. These measurements, combined with the indications in the user's manual, will tell you the truth. If someone says something else as your measurements, they are lying, maybe just because they do not have any idea and would not admit it.

most people think of morbidly obese as "fat"... when really, morbidly obese is "giganto-disgusting-extremely fleshy fatasstastic" because of this, alot of people on think of others in terms of "sickly thin, skinny, chubby, overweight, and fat" sickly thin being anyone, at any height, who is under 80 pounds....and fat being anyone who is over 250 pounds. whereas skinny would be anyone who doesn't have fat rolls when they sit down. and overweight being anyone who has back flab. and chubby is anyone who's muscle cannot be seen, but who's cellulite can also not be seen. chubby runs the gammut from "baby fat" to "thick" baby fat is when you have an amount of fat that you can poke, but you cannot easily grab. and thick is when you have an amount of fat that you can grab, but is mostly accumulated in your thighs, but, and breasts. so typically, a BMI body mass index over 23 falls into the chubby area, whereas over 32 falls into the fat area, depending of course, on your build...

Well it may be their opinion they may be lying. But don't get mad at them for saying they are lying since they may just be trying to be nice. Then again, my friend she is overweight I guess, but she thinks she looks ugly because of her being fat so I tell her she is not because I am trying to let her know she is not ugly since she associates the two. Maybe they mean something else but say something different?
