  • Do you know how to operate a cutting torch? Uh how about a sledge hammer, some of them have a hole in the bottom of the safe take out the bolt and take a hanger and try to fish for the door latch from the inside open.
  • I had the same safe with the same issue. The lock smith told me to try adding one to each number in the safe combination and it opened. Subtract one and try again if that does not work. Then two if necessary. A word of caution - this worked for me but because the mechanism is getting sloppy in it, you may want to replace the safe. These safes have cheap plastic dials and as they age and or are not used frequently, they get sloppy. The safe lock was not dependable and this trick failed to work again after a few successful openings. These safes were cheap and you get what you pay for. I have another Sentry with a metal dial that is older and never had this issue. Good luck!
  • I DON'T KNOW THE COMBERNATION. NEED ANSWERS ON HOW TO OPEN SAFE. HAVE A SENTRY 1250 MODEL,CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU
  • I was having the same problem, till I figured out what I was doing wrong, I was doing it R-L-R, but it goes L-R-L. Ex: If your combination is 66-34-13, Start out by turning your dial L at least 3 times, then continue turning it to the L to 66, then turn R 1 full turn till you pass the 66, then continue R to the 2nd # 34, then L to the 3rd # 13.
