  • In this day and age, I would rather be searched than bombed or shot. *but it is still a pain.
  • I have season tickets to 6 major theme parks. Every single time I go they have to check my bags. I have filled out complaint forms and I have even said to them face to face do you really think that if I'm bringing something into the park to do harm to someone that I would have it in my bags ?? NO I would have it on my person ! It's just amazing how they inconvenience everyone enter the parks because they think someone is going to do something. If they can sneak onto planes and knock down two of our buildings surely they will say " Gee they don't check my body but they check my bags , so I think I'll carry the bomb on my person " ACk ! I don't know why this makes me so frustrated I guess because I have a lot of common sense and checking someones purse when they can carry it on their person and get away with it drives me crazy.
  • Nope cause they don't check your sock! Hahahaha works everytime! ;-)
  • On the one hand, I'm actually glad they are trying to search out possible threats, but on the other hand, not only are their search methods less than effective, it causes both delays in getting to the pleasure from being IN the park, and it is an annoying hassle for those of us who are NOT planning to do harm.
  • Does it bother me? Yes. But not as much as dying. I think I can spare the extra few minutes.
  • Boy does that tell you how long it's been since I went to one..I didn't know they did that. I need to get out more.
  • One of the aims of terrorism is to create a self-sustaining air of paranoia, fear and mistrust. When a society becomes so paranoid and reactionary that we search mothers' diaper bags at local orchestra presentations, then the terrorists have done their job. On one horrible day, thousands of people died when an extremist faction attacked the financial and political heart of the nation. The targets were intended to send a statement. I personally don't think they have their eye on a mid-level mall in Wheeling, Illinois. As for all the "thwarted plots," certainly the bad guys are still out there, but what the media doesn't follow-up on is giving the unsexy details of "Would-be Terrorists" who turn out to be nothing more than digruntled workers or social outcasts with few plans and almost no resources. Americans have let themselves be deprived of a large measure of their personal freedom and privacy because everywhere we look, we see terrorists. Yes, I find the constant intrusion annoying, wholly ineffective and uneccesary.
  • No, actually. I have nothing to hide, so I like it. It means that people are less likely to bring in a knife or a gun or something stupid like that. The only thing that bothers me, is when they make me throw away my balance bars- I need to eat often and the crap they usually sell isn't worth wiping my ass with. What if I was diabetic? I would sue them once I went into a diabetic coma...
  • no, i dont care
