I hate these boxes. I believe God created the heavens and the earth in seven days. I believe that humans were a special creation in God's image, made to govern the earth in righteousness, under the Kingship of God. As for the details, I am content to wait and be told.

Sinner- I'm posting my comment as an answer: Here is a metaphor for you: Let's say you wake up one morning and look around, and all of the furniture is Japanese. You turn on the TV, and see Japanese TV shows. You turn on the radio, and hear Japanese music. You look out the window, and see some cherry blossom trees, a shinto temple, and in the distance is mount Fuji. You walk out the front door, and you see a japanese street, japanese cars, japanese signs, and lots of japanese people. There are only two possible conclusions: 1.) You are in Japan. 2.) Someone WANTS you to think you are in Japan. Which is more likely, an elaborate hoax making you think you are in Japan, or that you are in Japan? And, assuming that you know an all-loving person is responsible for where you are, even if it is a hoax, you should live your life as if you are in Japan, since that's what he wants you to think. If God created the universe, he also created the laws of physics. Using those laws of physics, we can calculate that the universe is approximately 12 billion years old. That means that either: 1.) The universe is 12 billion years old. 2.) God WANTS us to think it's 12 billion years old. So since god wants us to think the universe is 12 billion years old, do you think God is trying to deceive us with an illusion, or is it more likely that the universe IS 12 billion years old? And even if it is an illusion, if god is all-loving, then he WANTS you to think it's 12 billion years old. It would be going against God's will to think otherwise. You have to admit that the way the Bible is written is ambiguous, and open to interpretation. If you believe God created the universe, then the Universe itself is the ultimate Bible, and Science is the method of reading that Bible. The universe itself says it is 12 billion years old. Listen to what the universe says.

young earth creationism definately. If you do all the math from Adam's creation and the geneology to Jesus in the year 0ish A.D., you'll find that the earth is somewhere between 6000-17000 years old. I came up with the 17000 years thing, but I did all the math WAY wrong so I know I'm off by ALOT. But really, the bible says it, so it's true, you just have to do a little math... I could give you like a TON of info on why people lived so long back then, how dinosaurs could have been on the earth, why dinosaurs are extinct, etc. So yeah, if you want to know, just ask.

Young Earth Creationism. Mankind has been proven wrong too many times to believe him over God.
-
I hold to the Genesis creation and the reason for that is because I believe Scripture to be the true Word of God and the scientific evidence points towards a Creator.
-
Young Earth.

I believe in Young Earth Creationism. I hold that Earth is roughly 7,000 to 8,100 years old, besed on evidence from many civilizations and early records. The first writings around 3000 BC, all have stories relating to the Creation being about 2,000 years before.

Old earth creationism. Because we know that the earth is eons old. And the Bible supports this in more than one place.
