No, because I believe that there is a reason for everything. There is a reason why people are hungry. There is a reason why there is HIV/AIDS. We may not know these reasons now, but someday we might.
-
No, because I believe if it exists, it's necessary.

There is no purpose of suffering. It may result in strength in some cases but there is no purpose. It is just the way Things still are in the world. People have bee trying to end the suffering of people and animals for centuries and we should continue to do so. Please don't ever believe that there is a purpose to thbe suffering of living things. To say this is cruel.

No. I wouldn't do it. For one thing, most of human suffering is man-made. Not all, but most. For that reason alone, suffering will never, ever stop. What good would it do me to suffer if mankind doesn't learn from the mistakes and correct them? Now, if you asked me whether I would do it if it meant that mankind would actually benefit from it in the way I mentioned, then yes, I would. But I don't have to like it.

Yes dammit. The rest of you are incredibly evil. Perhaps you just didn't understand the question.
-
I would do it, but I don't think that it could work. Or that we would be satisfied with the solution. And don't forget, there were still all the *necessary* suffering.

No, without the suffering, people wouldn't appreciate the good things in life, they would be taken for granted. I know this sounds harsh and callous of me, but it just the way I view the world.
