I don't know the exact number but over 80 as I have about 20 on each shelf of my bookcase.Many are fiction,some cookbooks,helpbooks,craft books etc etc!

Too many, I got rid of a lot recently. What is the point of having large amounts that are never opened?

You hit my addiction. I probably own thousands. Mostly nonfiction. I could have a small library, usually our books are arranged in order and if there is something you need to know, there's a shelf for it. But we just recently moved and now most of my beloved books are in boxes, upstairs in a barn waiting for their new shelves to be built. I've saved and brought out some of my most useful or interesting ones. And of course I've bought more since moving here ;-)

In this house - 13. In storage, about 400+ - my art books, some old textbooks, my collection of turn-of-the-century medical books, and a pile of secondhand novels.

I'm probably nearing 100...I always have several lent out to friends and family though, so maybe more.
