    I stopped drinking about six months before joining Answerbag, and I'm glad I quit. Alcohol distorts emotions, understanding, and perception. People already have enough trouble communicating on-line in the first place. Alcohol exacerbates the problem. I've seen several comments from people who said they were embarrassed and sorry that they participated on AB after they'd been drinking. I'd probably be one of those people, too, if I hadn't quit when I did.
