  • Do you have a disc in any of the drives? Or an external hooked up? Either of those can cause that.
  • Usually it would say something on the screen like "Hit F1 to continue." You can try that. Try disconnecting your CD/DVD drive and floppy drive from the motherboard and then see if it will boot.
  • My pc did the same thing , it would freeze at start up and tell me I had no hdd and no cdrom. what i did was open up my case unplug the flat cable from cdrom and hdd blow out the dust , hook them back up and it worked i also unplugged the power plugs to the hdd ( hard drive ) and the cdrom , this seems to reset the Hdd and the cdrom
