  • Find someone you can talk to about whatever is bothering you, and how you feel. Dont withdraw from people, you may want to, but you must not! See your Doctor, and tell them you dont want pills. They will direct you to a good counsellor. They can pull you out of a rut, and set you on the right path! Goodluck!
  • i just work through it. If I need to cry then I do it. If I'm feeling really low I have to make myself call someone that I know is compassionate and will pick me up..but it takes alot for me to call someone cause I don't like to bother anyone butyou make yourself do it.
  • I understand and have been told that exercise will raise your endorphines, which will make you feel better, thus relieving some of the depression. I can't testify as to whether or not this is true, however.
  • Exercise Talk to a counselor or join a support group Eat right Sleep on a schedule See a doctor if it persists....
  • I think a certain amount of depression is normal in every life. Things happen to make us really sad. Being with friends, keeping active, both mentally and physically might help minor depression from getting worse. But chronic depression is another matter. Seek professional help--might not need meds, just a good therapist to talk you through it.
  • well, it depends. many people have depression sometimes, and it's normal. exercise, stress management, aromatherapy, keeping a journal- all good practices. clinical depression often requires medication because it stems from a chemical imbalance, but that's a little different.
  • I will be brief in my answer. Keep yourself busy. It works for me. An occupied mind has litttle time to dwell on issues that depress.
  • Deal with your problems, have a good friend.
  • keep busy, find a good hobby, something that you enjoy. make sure you're talking about it... whether thats to your friends or a councelor. pills are really the best way to go though, i tried and failed to deal with it for 3 years before i started taking lexapro, which makes me feel better than i have in YEARS. don't be afraid to get help
  • the best way maybe is to do aerobic exercises . when doing activity , a hormone called Endorphin releases in your blood wich makes you feel good . another way is to seek what is making you unhappy and solve it or talk about it to someone .
  • Start excercising (nothing extensive, just 20-30 minutes every other day; you can increase this as you feel appropriate) eat a balanced diet (supplement with a multivitamin, yah, it's a pill, but...) get a hobby, something that results in observable improvements, or a product that you can show off and be proud of. model building, guitar, computer programming, martial arts, a blog about a subject that interests you)
  • Be active, do things you enjoy, try to find out why you're depressed and see if you can change it... Sometimes medication is neccesary.
  • I just have a few orgasms every day, I never have any problems with depression.
  • Stay in the moment and realize that this is all an illusion, don't take youself to damb serious and fire you imagination.
  • Here are things that help me: -Talking to someone that doesn't mind listening -Doing something creative-ish -- sewing, drawing, cooking, etc. -Change your environment (clean your room, go to a friend's house, etc.) -is something is causing your depression, figure it out and try to solve it -Write (it helps tons) -Exercise -Watch your diet. Not getting enough of some vitamins causes depression. -Just lie around and read some books you like -Watch a movie -Go out and do something fun, like eating ice cream with a friend -Get something to look forward to. Hope I helped.
  • Simple, think about yourself, why you're depressed and how, then think about Darfur. Meditate, think about when you were happy and why, put yourself there, remember small details. Think happier.. Life is actually really amazing, apprietate the small things in life. Happy music, I recomend something like Swing life away, by Rise against. Sleep well =P, dream well.. Get to really know yourself, I mean some extensive deep thinking you would never normally do, think about your actions and how they impacted your friends, family, and randoms who just saw you. If you don't like it, change your actions. Instead of looking at people and thinking about why/what you do not like about them, look at what you do.. Find someone to share happiness. Love life
