More intelligent. I never really thought much about it until now, but I really do enjoy being with intelligent people.

Smarter than me because I am always willing to learn and listen to new ideas different from mine.

I like the smart ones. If I'm trying to talk to someone and they can't keep up it drives me nuts.

I feel that most of us are smart in different ways. Even those that are much younger or much older. We all have things we can learn from others. So they do not have to be smarter than me for me to enjoy being with them, but I do need them to have an active intelligence, meaning that they do not sit around and vegetate. We only deteriorate when we stop learning, or trying to learn.

I like people who are smarter than me almost exclusively. Most of my friends are practically geniuses in something. Some have excellent insight into the human psyche. Some have a keen sense of humor and can spot BS a mile away. Some have a heart so big that they just have to do for others or their chest will burst. I love my friends.
