  • I think that stupid people attract stupid people. SO maybe it's true. But I also think that there is no such thing as a stupid question if the asker is genuine in wanting to learn and know something.
  • Stupid Question example: " Do you know the answer to every Question " ? Wise Answer: " The answer to every question is ,Should not a man enquire of his God " ?
  • Some questioners write clearer questions than others. Sometimes a writer isn't so skillful and words her/his question poorly. The result is: It sounds stupid, when there really IS something that the person wants to know. The best responders on AB can often figure out what the person was trying to say, and craft an excellent, clear answer to the poorly-asked question.
  • Yes, I believe that. I had a girl ask me when I got my ears pierced if I wanted my daughters ears pierced as well. My son was dressed in a shirt with footballs, baseballs, soccor balls and baseball bats on it. He also had on jeans that had a matching patch and shoes with the same balls on them. So I said sure her name is Butch and we'd love to have her ears pierced.....Yes, stupid questions deserve stupid answers. I believe there are such things as stupid questions 100%, but it's 'prolly more like there is no stupid question, just stupid people.
  • If the question is genuinely stupid it can't possibly attract anything other than an equally stupid response. On the other hand some questions that appear to be stupid are really a plea for help, but badly written. Sometimes they contain lots of abbreviations to squeeze them into the available space and attract the attention of a certain ABer from California. However, some other people that use this site are discerning enough to be able to see past poor grammar and abbreviations and give eminently sensible answers to seemingly stupid questions.
  • Religiously, YES! And I absolutely enjoy framing my answer as stupidly as I possibly can. Any intelligent answer (when the question is stupid), is , by definition, stupid.
