I first learned of Neuticles a few years ago when dealing with an "aggressive" young (2yrs old), very large male Lab.
The owner's Vet had suggested to them that Neuticles might be the way to go and for a dog his size...large would be the correct size...for your AMUSEMENT run a google search to check the prices for these (inane) "puppies!" roflmao
The dog was being fed (originally) a combo of a very pricey and supposedly popular (VET RECOMENDED..and purchased from his office) Dry dog food mixed with (the DREADED)semi-moist...oil and sugar filled pouched crap!
In addition this VET had put the young dog on some type of Doggie "downers" to supposedly calm him enough to continue living with his family! ACK ACK ACK!!!
They asked me if I thought the NEUTICLES would help.
I suggested that we first change his diet (no sugar, no dyes) high meat, brown rice based dry food. Get him OFF the doggie-downers and increase his daily levels of physical activity and ACTIVE training...(ummm gee, what if we teach the dog to behave the correct, polite way we would like him to? what a concept!)
Since these people had lots and lots of money (but evidently were poor in general common sense) I saw no reason NOT to work with their (aggressive.... hmmmm..really?) dog on a daily basis, which the dog needed and so did the owners because they evidently really thought that dogs grew up KNOWING by evidently divine intervention, I guess, HOW to behave and WHAT we humans expect from them!
The Dog was NOT aggressive, he was BORED TO DEATH, (milling about in a big house with no clear direction or activities) Doped up to the gills on Vet prescribed medications, and being fed an insane diet designed to keep him supercharged on dyes and sugar (How to create an ADHD DOG!)
Happy ending, Owners DID have a brain after all! Dumped the over charging, nitwit, take advantage VET. LEARNED how to support their dog's LEARNING and DOING good, positive behaviors and HAVING FUN! and...
The dog was not plagued with an UNNECESSARY, EXPENSIVE and annoying surgery to "replace" his "lost" testis, which he could have given a rat's azz about in the first place...all he wanted to something to do with his family, some decent fun, and to understand what the hell they wanted from him.
Their Vet had told them their dog was aggressive because he jumped on people and grabbed with his mouth!
(Is there no one here whose YOUNG dog or puppy has NOT done this behavior before being taught not to jump???? The Vet diagnosed this "AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR" when the dog was 7 months old!)
I think Neuticles are a freaking amusing idea (as a gag gift for a guy or gal who is known to have a big brass pair in regards to their "behaviors"...and this is my trip down memory lane with regards to someone actually considering BUYING a set!

that is the greatest story, Redhawk. If only people would realise that animals are not humans and stop trying to treat them like humans. Why can't they let them be themselves and be happy? We have a cat and we love her so much, but puddy is herself, and must live to her own rhythms. She is the dearest most affectionate animal, because we have let her be a cat.

Thanks...at first I thought it was a joke to be honest, but the more I learned about their Vet, the more I realized he was screwing them for their money...and ultimately ruining a good dog...I could've just kicked him in HIS own neuticles! He took advantage of their ignorance...with evidently no concern for what his tranks were doing to that poor dog!
