A "roll", not really, sounds too "play acting". A PURPOSE, yes. More meaningful.

Absolutely--and everyone is important. Too bad that at times we sometimes think we are not and too bad that some people make other people think they are worthless.

i do believe that,i believe that every great action or goal that is accomplished is made up of thousands of little goals and actions.the actual great people that we usually think of like the einsteins, the curies,or the newtons became great because of the thousands of unknown people that helped them along the way.

Yes, kind of reminds me of the movie 'It's a Wondefull Life'. If a person was never born, so much can be different.

Yes, I agree with that 100%

We are all Important in LIFE - Yes
-
Yes 100%. There is a purpose for us all.

Yes, everyone is important, but no to the business about everyone having a role in life... if you mean some sort of role which we're destined to take on. We all end up taking on many roles in life: I've been a child, a parent, a teacher, a student, an engineer, a basketball player, a musician, and so forth. Which of these was "my destiny"? None of them... they're just roles which fit the situation at the time. This question is sort of hinting at a bigger question in the background: "who am I?". THAT question has some real power if its asked the right way over a long enough period of time. One of the things you have to do to make progress with that question is to challenge the superficial notion that who we are is merely the aggregate of the roles we've played -- there's something much deeper than that going on. A role is like an actor in a play: one should do one's best at it, but not fall into believing it really defines "myself".

A role or purpose - whatever... but our life does has meaning.
