Two things spring to mind : 1. in real life most issues don't get resolved only 30 or 60 minutes; and 2. I never understood why a married couple, who presumably spent the night together in the same bed, say good morning to each other only in the kitchen or at the breakfast table - I say it to my DH before I either of us has even left the bed.

There's no remote to turn her off.

On TV: -nobody ever spends ten minutes having a conversation about the weather unles sthe weather turns out to be a really crucial element in what happens later that day. -No-one ever forgets what they were going to say or gets their word muddled up and says "par cark" instead of car park. Or gets the hiccups. Or farts at a really serious moment. - no-one tries to open the door of their house with the key to the office. Or walks into a room then walks out again because they completely forgot what they went in for. - on TV eithereveryone always has the right change for a taxi or gives very big tips. - on TV there's always a parking space when and where you need one. - On Eastenders, nobody ever watches Eastenders.

On TV it all works out in the end, the guilty get found out and punished etc. In real life...Hmmm.
