Advantages.......being totally involved in school life . The chance to grow and become independent from your parents. Often the chance to travel, it was for me. Many other advantages too.Going home really seems like a holiday. Disadvanteges ------Having to get used to missing your Mother and siblings at a very early age. Sometimes it takes a shy child time to settle and make friends. Missing my sisters (sometimes) Long flights ( not in all cases of course) alone or in the care of an airline employee. Parents often not about to share your triumphs.
