Hmm, tricky. Sometimes diet can do it? Not eating too close to going to bed, but also not going hungry. Making sure you drink enough water is always good. Another one is taking some form of exercise during the day - nothing strenuous, necessarily, but it does tend to make it easier to sleep well. You could also try winding down at night before you go to sleep, by reading a book, or meditating, if that's your thing. Failing all that, you could try asking a professional for advice. Strong sleeping pills would be a bit much, but they could probably give better advice than I can manage. :)

Sounds like me. What do u use to get to sleep (music, reading, etc.) I use my MP3 for a hour before i fall asleep. However my room is extrememly hot with AC, fan and the window open. Sleeping pills after a while your body gets used to it it takes forever to get to sleep with it in your system. I use to take decongestant Suddafed to fall asleep, within a month i was used to it and it didnt work anymore.

I don't know how many hours you sleep each night... What about getting up much earlier than usual. Whenever I get up early, I pass out like a ton of bricks that evening.

G'day Morganstern, Thank you for your question. Perhaps you ought to see a counsellor to identify the problems causing the poor quality of your sleep. Perhaps you are worried about the day you've had or the day that you are going to have. I have attached some references that may be of use.
