None. Brick is beautiful, just by itself and should never be painted. Once you paint brick, you will always have to paint brick. Its peels dramatically.

Lets start with the fact that there are all different types of brick and all different types of applications for brick. If brick is soft and breaking in the weather, sometimes painting it is the best option. However, if the brick is exposed on more than one side or in contact with the ground so that it can absorb water, painting won't work. If water gets behind the paint, it will push the paint off the wall by hydraulic pressure. So don't use it on a chimney, where rain can hit inside and migrate to the outside, or on a retaining wall. If you are painting house walls, go to your local paint store and ask for a recommendation for a primer and paint. Just don't use cheap paint, which is thinned with water. It will take more paint and is often brittle and comes off quickly. There is an old cistern and swimming pool paint known as Damtite, which can sometimes be useful on concrete and masonry where water is a problem too. It is cement based instead of latex or oil based. It is great on foundation walls.

They make a special concrete paint, which sticks to concrete quite well. Ask for it.
