I try to either kill 'em with kindness or I just ignore them.
-
I try not to deal with them as much as possible. But if I have to I'm brief in my correspondence with them.
-
Unfortunatly, I can't. I have a problem with controlling my hot head and big mouth! I would have to walk away or hang up!

I had a boss once who was "difficult" and I survived by taking 100 mg Vitamin B tablets each day. It really helped to calm me down...it's water soluble so you don't have to worry about toxicity.

I am exceptionally patient with people in general. I was a hair dresser for 12 years for Pete's sake. I usually try to make them feel that they have a valid point and that I am trying my utmost to make them happy whether that's true or not. That usually works. If they are still being difficult then I will state emphatically that I obviously cannot make them happy and to please take their business, or whatever the case may be, else where.

Usually People who are not recognized or acknowledged or crave unnecessary attention tend to 'act up'. Generally, I try to give attention to everyone who crosses my part. If I encounter someone who is exceptionally needy and want more than I can offer, and they ‘act up’, I avoid being around them whenever I possibly can. I have learned from experience that listening more and saying less makes everyone happy, even difficult people. :-)

I deal with them everyday. When they are finished complaining about stupid stuff. I then excuse myself and say to them. I hope you have a Blessed Day
-
I annoy the h#ll out of them by being extremely sickeningly pleasant..like I dont notice
-
A shotgun, a shovel, and a s hole dug six feet deep...jk, the only way to deal with difficult people is by learning patience
-
Either roll my eyes and walk away or let them know how I REALLY feel and let THEM walk away.
-
The customer is always right (with limitations) then put laxatives in their coffee.
-
I walk away and leave them ranting.
-
The nicer you are to them, the more they feel uncomfortable about being difficult. Some customers are just so caught up in their own little world that they don't even notice! Patience is a virtue,, or so I'm told!
-
I deal them with my hands or words.
-
I have little patience and short temper so I avoid them as much as possible, but when I encounter them, I try to be the adult in the situation and use my super honing people skills to guide the conversation the direction it needs to go to get somewhere with them.
-
With each situation its different but I try to understand why they are being the way they are first. Then I try to see if I can do something to get them to calm down..

As a cashier I deal with them often, usually I will listen & agree. I try to find out what the root of the problem is & if I can help. If its someone just wanting to be a smart arse I usually ignore them & go onto the next customer. Funny thing is most customers tend to ignore someone acting rude & complaining too so they usually start feeling as dumb as they look.
