Kenny Rodgers, Lucille my dad used to play the tape when we went to the coast, I hated it at the time, but when I hear it now it always makes me smile :-)

As a child in Philadelphia, American Bandstand and Doo-wop was big. Many summer evenings the guys "hanging on da corner" would form a group and sing all night long.

Kinda odd, but Men in Black... and OPP... even Sponge's "Powed" pretty much any song of the 90's... I'm a channel-switcher that would flick from R&B stations to "Modern Rock"... and there are plenty of 80's songs that bring me back but those first few I listed are *very* nostalgic... the first two of High School dances, and the 3rd of drives to school in the morning during my Senior year. :)

"Until I Wake Up" by Dishwalla really makes me nostalgic. It reminds me of high school, sophomore year in particular. A lot went on that year, a lot of changing went on and this song helped me get through the hard times.

I'll be Home for Christmas gets me every time. Not that it applies to me but it makes me feel very sad for those it does apply to. Usually I have to turn it off when it comes on.
