I really don't know what you are basing your question off of... since I don't know very many angry apostolics... I know lots of apostolics, just not ones that are angry all the time, or faster than anyone else at getting angry...

I am an Australian and we do not see many Apostolics...I am wondering if there are many in the community around you and that is why you notice them as the few that I have met on AB have been lovely and thoughtful people.

Because, like any other person, they are stuck with this thing called an EGO. This EGO, when fed a bi-weekly meal of "You are right, everyone else is wrong, and you are here to save them" grows quite fat, as I am sure you can imagine. Unfortunately, the same religious cult (sorry, fellow Apos, that's what we are) that claims to follow the Bible to the letter, happens to be the worst about "Judge not, lest ye be judged." This constant search for a soul to prove lost has turned many apostolics into a collective band of self-righteous lunatics, that do a better job converting Baptists to Atheism than sinners to Truth. Wait... have I digressed? Perhaps I'm answering another question (one that I often ask myself...) Angry? Because they (we?) are convinced they(we?) are right, and everyone else is wrong, and how DARE anyone be in the way of those with God's Truth. Yep. Both boil down to Ego.

That is perfectly ridiculous you cannot possible know the temperament of all Apostolics; so therefore, you cannot say that they get angry more frequently than the average person.

Hi, Interesting question. Thanks for posing it.I would guess that you have encountered a group the in some way names themselves apostolic and happens to have many members who are easily angered from your perception. There are many different groups that use that name. i.e. Apostolic. Even the Catholic church calls itself Apostolic in its universal creed. It would seem unlikely to me that a person would be foolish enough to assume that all Apostolic Christians get angry more frequently than other or what you call average people.I hope that you are not calling all Christians in general apostolic. Because then you would be saying they all get angry more than other types of average people. Your question, though interesting, may be an example of over simplification or false assumption that even Christians are capable of doing. I have noticed that unbelievers though have a tendency to do oversimplifying more from my observations in life. Could you be more specific and state which particular group of apostolics seem to get angry more frequently i.e. what state, city address are they in or at. I have met some people who claim to be Christians and yet have anger problems. However not all Christians I have met are this way. thanks for pondering my response. WoundsOfAFriend
