I want to ask a friend to take ballroom dance lessons, is that too romantic for a friendship?

Nope! As long as you are both clear that you are only friends, I think it would be fun!

Not at all. If you want to protect the relationship though stick to the dancing and leave the romance at home.

Wouldn't think so. Do ballrooms where a dance floor for such activities even exist anymore? You know, outside of the classroom arena.

No, not at all. Besides, all the group dance lessons I've ever taken have all the students switch partners throughout each lesson anyhow - so you'll really only be dancing with your own partner at the beginning, and maybe again at the end. You'll probably be dancing with all the other students for the rest of the class. Dancing is fun. I say go for it.
