The house of commans is a "Royal Palace" and as such not included in the law, I agree this is very unfair.

It certainly is hypocritical, but the law has been passed by politicians, so what else can we expect other than hypocrisy.

Rumour are rumours. I think I'll reserve my judgement until after the ban is put into effect to see if any actual evidence comes about. Such 'rumours' can often simply be lies sensationalised by the tabloids. I think it would be rather stupid for MP's to do this since it would draw so much criticism and attention. Surely politicians aren't THAT hypocritical.

Hypocritical in POLITICS?, so what else is new?. That is what politics is all about . One law for the Lawmakers and another law for the rest of the country. Regrettably the House of Commons and Lords do not come under the same licensing laws as the rest of the Country it is Called The Palace of Westminster.
