I fall in the # 2...some left. Enough not to worry much, but not nearly enough to feel as comfortable as I would like to feel. Especially in case of home or car or medical-dental emergencies which can take a huge bite out of anyone's budget!

I have some left - I always make sure all my Bills are paid before I spend a penny on anything else - and I'm very conservative when it comes to Air and Heater - I'll use fans and add more covers - I pay attention to sale prices on Food and other things like that - That's just a few of my way's of having money left over

I was in the hole for many years after a divorce - I had to pay an absolute fortune and borrow to do it. I've just landed a job that will see me paying every monthly bill you could imagine, then having at least $1500 left over to save every, single, week. Yep, week. It's even legal!

month beginninng-----i have plenty left...i guess am gonna save a lot this month. mid month ------how money flies!! last week of the month-----who the bloody idiot thinks that i have plenty of money!

I barely have enough on my paycheck to pay all the bills and buy groceries and gas and such. This is largely due to the fact that a big chunk comes out automatically before I ever see my check and goes in to savings. I did not save when I was younger and am trying to save agressively to make up for it before I retire.

I'd normally have some left over. I'm living off of my savings at this point, though I'm owed (by friends and family) a bit over $4,000. I hope to start putting money into retirement, so I'd have next to nothing left. I have a "go to hell" (emergency) fund and savings I'd be able to tap into before going into debt. If I don't have to worry about car payments or a mortgage, that'd be a major help. I figure if I go crazy funding retirement accounts for a few years, I won't have to worry about it in the future.

I usually have some left, although a few times I have had to "rob Peter to pay Paul" so that I would.
-
I would say "in the hole", even keeping things down to the basics. In September, I had $1.04 left in my account, and bills still waiting on payday.
-
In the hole every time. I make a decent salary for someone my age and of my educational background, but it's not enough to cover the expense of living and commuting in one of the most expensive regions of the U.S.

Yes always plenty left. I feel for those who struggle and i can relate as I have been there. For those who really have a bad time I suggest looking into funded programs which local government has set up for people in need of some assistance. Call your local city hall and churches they usually are the ones offering help. If they are not they can direct you to those that are.

I currently have plenty left but soon it'll be some or not much. :(

I've always run a tight budget but somehow managed to scrape through. My budget has always said that I'm slowly going broke but these days I actually have got wiggle room if I choose to use it (but I really don't want to). I'm slacker than I used to be, eat out heaps more than I used to, but yeah, years of living tight for little in return has taken it's toll.

My bills only add up to $200 (I'm 20 an live at home) but somehow I end up with nothing each month...

sometimes i have a little left and some months, nothing left. I get paid bi-weekly so a few months out of the year i get 3 paychecks. i love those months because i am a single parent and it takes a lot to keep a home going, speically with one job that doesnt pay enough. but a year left, and i will be a RN........ cant wait.

Some, but my daughter usually gets that.

Wow, I guess I'm not responsible with money, or maybe its the four kids and the wife that doesnt work, but I never have any extra money.
