Send her a cute note apologising for your earlier behaviour and explaining you've had a change of heart. Girls love cute notes, in my experience. You'll have to be pretty sincere, though.

The problem with this kind of action is that anything you do afterwards seems sarcastic. A note may be a helpful way, as Elissa suggested, to get her talking to you again. You can also talk to people you know, do you two have any mutual friends? Getting the word out that your feeling bad about what you did can always help. In fact, one of the people you talk to may help set you up, if they feel sympathy for you. Finally, if you have done all this, the girl should have a pretty good idea that your apologetic and sincere. You should just walk up to her and ask to talk, because everything is already in the open from her previous confession anyway.

I do have a couple of friends who could help me out or could even ask the girl themdselves. Would these ways help?
