Your saying no one blames God when something bad happens in their life?? Some people claim that they don't believe in God because he took away their parent (or whatever) But thats a different subject. I've always heard of people blaming God for things, as well as thanking him. But if people are going to blame God for letting somebody die, that really doesn't make any sense. God made us mortal, everyone is going to die at some point. Anyways, it could always be worse, look at the story of Job in the Bible to see someone that was going through a rough time.

people thank god and blame god for things. sometimes when something bad happens to someone they even lose their faith and go the opposite way. im not religious but i do believe in god and i often wander why all these horrible things happen to innocent people.

God doesn't save us from death. Nobody gets out of this world alive. As for desease, we gotta die of something to make room for those born after us. 40% of us will die before the age of 65! Sometime we are cured of our deseases by a real miracle, sometimes we are rid of th desease because we died from it. As for thanking God when good things happen, usually it's because it's something that wasn't suppose to happen and we are pleasantly surprised by the outcome and can see where the hand of God moved things in an order to make it possible.

Because we have a fallen nature, we don't always fully understand what or why God does the things He does. We do know that it is always to the good, no matter how bad circumstances seem at the time. We're focused on here and now in physical reality, He's not only in control of what's happening now but forevermore.

Christian theology dictates that God is always good and right and that means that any fault or blame can never land in Gods lap as this would undermine the very idea of the Christian God. So Christians have been trained explain away the horrible things that happen in this world by using the "fallen nature" approach and the "all things work together for good for those who love him ..." line. Oh, of course this thinking totally contradicts itself when Christians say that God is in total control of everything - even our next breath.
