why not include atehists? I have tried this many times, and the answers never came. then I learned to rely on myself.

Yes, at a time when my marriage was in free fall, and everything I tried to do to save it went against my efforts. I cried out for God to save me. I had been a agnostic to that point, and through the work of the Holy Spirit, I am a firm believer in grace, salvation, and our Lord Jesus. And yes I am still married, and happier than ever.

it's rarely my last resort... most often my first. prayer is a constant in my life.. i don't feel the need to 'save' God's power for the very last to the point that i collapse under the emotional weight of carrying life on my own. He means to be a constant Companion, not a foul-weather friend.

Yes - plenty of times! Fundraising for missions, trying to get a job, trying to get my family to cooperate and keep house. . .and many more times. . .and sometimes many times over for the same things!

I am unable to get on my knees to pray, but I do pray constantly. Before I accepted Jesus as my saviour, I use to pray as a last resort, didn't get far. I realize now that He was waiting for me to truly believe. There are times now that I find I had a need and received help without asking for it. He is awesome!! He knows my needs better than I and takes care of them much better than I ever could. PTL!! In His service, <:))))<>< "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
