  • No, it's kind of out of date. Windows NT6000 or Windows Vista seems to be the new thing right now. There are people who still use it thought, but it's not in circulation anymore.
  • Hopefully very few, MS isn't supporting it anymore, or Windows 98 for that matter. It's a 12 year old operating system.
  • We use it on one or two stand alone machines at work, for label printing etc. Its quick and does the job.
  • I have a second pc in my sewing room and it uses 98. My SIL still uses 95. But then she rarely uses the computer let alone goes on the internet.
  • it was the best system i ever used .rock solid ,bullet proof and lightning fast.i still set every OS to classic to remind me of it.
  • Some of us still do! I've got Win 95B on an almost 1Ghz PC with 128 MB and you would not believe how fast it is. It's using DSL and its perfect for browsing the Internet. And, believe it or not, it can be made very secure! I mainly use Win 98se, but when I fancy to step back in time just for fun, I use Win 95. More Win 98 users still around than those using 95, and I suppose our numbers are shrinking. Man has the right to use the OS he wills to use!
  • My old laptop had Windows 95. Maybe it's the reason why it's no longer operational.
