  • Take her outside (A LOT) and stay with her until she pees, and then praise her abundantly and give her a treat. It's all about consistency.
  • You don't give them the choice to go outside. You pick them up and take them outside about every 2 hours. Be patient and stay outside with them until they do their deed. Now, they may not pee every two hours, but give them a decent amount of time. Again, patience is key. As for the previous pee sites, try using a product that breaks down the ureic acids and amonia biologically. There are many products availabe at retailers such as PetSmart.
  • ooh don't use bleach, that will make your problem worse. Bleach contains ammonia, which is a chemical found in urine. All it does is add to marking 'the spot'. Thoroughly clean in a non ammonia based product. You can buy expensive ones. I was told by a dog handler to use clothes washing powder in hot water. It smells lovely too. I would also recommend considering a crate. I was dead against them, until my dog reached 7 months with no sign of settling into toilet training. I was advised and decided to use one and we've never looked back. I use it now when we're eating or otherwise unable to watch the dog. He's quite fond of chewing dolls. We leave the door of it open the rest of the time and he wanders in and out because his bed is in there. He happily sleeps in there at night and friends are happier to have us with the dog because he's not larging it up in their homes at night!
  • So its not cruel? are they big enough for them to move or is it like those cat travel thingies?
