I've read Twilight and the sequel New Moon. I liked them both. I'm stoked for the next one. It'll be out in January. If you liked that though, you should DEFINITELY check out Cate Tiernan's "Sweep" series. The first one is called Book Of Shadows.

I loved Twilight--and it's two sequels, New Moon and Eclipse. I was skeptical at first--the overall summary of the plot sounds cliche and bland. But it's the characters that really make this series so great--Edward Cullen in particular. I just picked up my voucher for the fourth [and possibly final] installment, Breaking Dawn. And the people they casted for the movie really are atrocious. I think I've finally accepted Robert Pattinson as perhaps being able to make a good Edward [though my first choice always was and always will be Gaspard Ulliel], but besides Kristen Stewart as Bella, the rest of the cast is just--blech.

yes i have read all the series so far. i love them, but they have really messed up the movie. The have picked Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) as Edward cullen, he may be a good actor, but don't really think he fits the part

ABSOLUTELY! The Twilight series is an eccelent work of perfection! i can't wait until Midnight Sun comes out, and i have already read the Host! it was brilliant. Oh my gosh, i love edwad cullen ^_^

Her last name is Meyer. And yes. It's the greatest book ever written in the world. I would recommend it to everyone in the world, even if they were not a vampire or romance fan.

YES!!! I absolutly loved it!!! They are such a sweet love story but also have that fantasy and thrill to it. I also read New Moon, most of it was just okay but then towards the end it gets really good!!! I'm getting Eclipse today and rushing to the book store August 2nd!!!

Twilight is freakin awesome!!! It has the biggest fan-base i have ever come across! Everybody scorns Twilight when they first hear about the plot, like I did, but I promise you once you read it you WILL be converted :DD no doubt a lot more people will read it after the film comes out- I can't wait!!

When I first heard all of the hype about Twilight, I vowed never to read them. But my vampire friend (she honestly believes that she's a vampire) told me I should read them, so I did, and I am reluctant to admit that I actually really did like them. They are wonderful pieces of literature, and I enjoyed every minute of reading them. I still don't like all of the hype about the series though.

(sry- mi cpu is messed up and wont let me comment) disturbed wears a jr coat of witchcraft- your friend really thinks that she is a vampire? wow. that..... interesting....i guess.

OMG im on the 3rd book now ( Eclipse) and i love these books soooo much , its even better if u've seen the movie becuase u can picture the characters in your head as u read their names , and OMG edward cullen is sooo damn fine , he puts me off human boys completely , so is there n e perfect, hot vampire guys out there looking for a friend?

yep. and i saw the movie. i didnt like the movie as much as i did the book. my fave book in the twilight saga is eclipse. i read the whole series 2x, going on 3x. 1 of my frends broke eclipse, AND breaking dawn. i had them in hard back, and the cover was about to fall off. it made me so fn pissed. >:(

Wow, it's frightening how many of the teeny-bopper comments above sound so real and full of emotion. It's totally scary....it's FICTION, THAT GUY DOESN'T EXIST. Asking if there is an Edward Cullen in my life is like asking me who I identify with mostly on Sex and the City. Is the world suffering from a collective delusion? Same with Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers; two ugly "acts" that basically suck and really have nothing but bubble gum to offer.

Yes- I love the serious- I'm not too crazy about the movie. You can go to StephanieMeyer.com and read the 5th book- it's twilight from Edwards' perspective. I LOVED it, it's not the finished work and she explains why on the site but overall very good.
