I just got a copy of Star Wars Episode 3. But it keeps freezing when I try to play it even though its brand new. Is it the game or my PS2? And how would I go about fixing the problem?

i have many reasons. one, the disk may be scratched.2,it may not have been recorded properly.3,if you have to much memorys for games on your hard disk and such it could do that.
