It's pretty obvious that Clinton is gay. I don't see why it matters anyways.

    Here's proof in this article:

    By MIKE FLEMING
    Nov. 28, 2003

MAYBE GAY PEOPLE are just more in tune with reinventing themselves and their surroundings. Maybe there's something to the stereotypes that gay men can make anything "a little more fabulous" and lesbians can "fix anything with the right tool."

Whatever the reason, gay viewers are flocking to the genre of reality makeover shows that restore, redesign and reinvent the looks of people and places.

Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" is the most obvious example of shows that are self-consciously gay. But most reality makeover series — The Learning Channel offers some of the most popular with "Trading Spaces," "While You Were Out" and "What Not to Wear" — are gay inclusive with hosts, designers or subjects who are openly gay.

"There is a gay sensibility to makeovers that makes us a natural to be on the shows and to watch the shows," says Clinton Kelly, a gay fashion expert on TLC’s "What Not to Wear."

The show "ambushes" fashion victims — including two women in Atlanta this weekend — who are nominated by friends and family for the makeover. Producers secretly videotape subjects for two weeks, then move in to surprise them with personalized tips on improving wardrobe, hair and accessory choices. That's followed in each episode by a shopping spree and a "reveal" sequence that puts the advice to practical use.

"It's fun to see people's reaction to how a few changes can change the way they feel about themselves," Kelly says.

An episode airing Dec. 5 includes not only gay expert Kelly, but a gay "victim" as well: stage actor David Lee, who just completed an extended run in the lead role of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" in Florida.

I know straight guys who get manicures. That just means he's in the public and has the cash. And unconfirmed references of the form "I met him in a bar that my friend made me go to." just sound bogus.

Gay... Straight... what does it matter? The guy strikes me as sharp and cool -- someone who'd be fun to have a beer with. Anything else is his own business.

I think the only thing that makes him seem a little bit gay are his clothes which dont even prove anything. Most gay guys have a gay voice... doesn't have one. I have more stuff but I'll stop there

I think he is either straight because if you watch him on the show, hes uncomfortable in the women linergie section... a striaght guy thing, and he is kinda boob crazy and is always touching stacy... i think the best compromise is that hes bi.

NO WAY...just because he is in to fashion and likes to get manicures don't mean anything the only person who can say he is gay is him.

He's gay, we're all gay unless we're sad.
Like the Flinstones said we're gonna have a Gay old time.
Just like Justin Timberlake is taking sexy back, I'm taking Gay back.
It is pretty sad that one sexual orientation can monopolize a word that meads happy.
    I don't think that's fair.
    Just like Kurt Cobain said:

    "What else should I be
    All apologies
    What else could I say
    Everyone is gay
    What else could I write
    I don't have the right
    What else should I be
    All Apologies"

How the hell did gay ever get to mean homosexual, WTF?

I don't know. Does it matter? Is he talented?
Does he send his Mom flowers? Has he tried to date your brother? Do you need a justification for needing this knowledge?
If he were, would this change your life?
Or expect him to change his? Who is this guy?
    Forget about it.

I was watching WNTW best of 2005 and they showed all the clips of clinton flirting with some of the contestants. but then in this one episode of the 4 friends getting maked up for their reunion a man with no shirt ran by and clinton said " you gotta love new york". so may be he is bi.

No, Clinton Kelly is not gay just becuase he said lets go get a manicure doesn't mean he's gay, A lot of straight guys out there do get manicures and i think if i were to go out with someone i would rather him be clean and get his nails done then if to have a dirty man... and one other think if you think Clinton Kelly is gay becuase he gets manicures that mean Ryam Secrest is too!

I don't know but on today's show, he said he had a crush in the woman getting a makeover. Then at the end of the show, he said to her as she left, "call me" like five times under his breath making the phone motion. He looked pretty sincere. You decide.

I do think he is gay because of previous answers + he shows many signs of feminism. He may just be very feminine, but It's my guess he's gay.

Clinton is openly gay in his personal and professional life, although his sexual orientation is only hinted about on the show. Evidence of this is clearly seen in articles about the show featured in two prominent gay publications:the Southern Voice [1] and the The Washington Blade [2].

This was posted on Wikipedia under a search for Clinton Kelly. I still think he's adorable and incredibly handsome.

Way gay--not that there's anything wrong with that. He's a total fancy boy, but I don't understand why anyone would care.

I watched the show for about 10 minutes once because I was channel surfing and saw Stacy London running her hands up and down this semi-hot mousey blonde girl. I couldn't stop watching because Stacy kept saying how good the blonde mousey girl looked.

Then this Clinton Kelly guy opens his mouth and ruins what was otherwise a beautiful moment in my life. Gay gay gay.

Does anybody know where I can find pictures of Stacy?

#1 Clinton Kelly is NOT gay. In one episode this woman tried to defend herself by saying "what woman doesnt have leather underwear?" and he said "MINE! and threw it in the trash." then in a later episode he said that he would bring his shirt home to his kid." i heard him make references in another show that" his wife.. etc. etc."

He has a WIFE and KID guys!! watch more episodes and you'll see.

    #2Also~

Nancy (a what not to wear guest)

Clinton was clearly flirting with her and Stacy pointed it out. Not to mention with other guests on the show as well. If you watched "The best of 2005" episode Stacy says in the background "Clinton has flirted with a lot of women on the show. and cant help but like their bazoombas.." along those lines. and then they show a clip of all the women he flirted with on the show.

Clinton does make references to how much he likes this woman's "lady lumps" or "curves" and blushes and laughs.

    #3
(this may be not related here)
Clinton has a huge problem/embaressement with the panty department and ladys shoe departement.(if you watched the wedding episode/and the $50,000 dream wardrobe) this may be steriotypical but dont gay guys usually like these departments in particular?

    No turning back fer him.
    Seriously, no straight guy
gives fashion advice for a living.
But really, I dont see why it matters.
He has a job and he is good at it.
I watch the show all the time, and hell, I am only 15!

Really, I could go on forever about this damn question everyone is asking...it probably annoys me more than it annoys Clinton himself. My sources claim that he is currently in a relationship with a woman, for privacy reasons I'm not going to say her name. But anyway, I don't see how everyone is so easily fooled by "interviews". it's called "lying"?! I think he lies because having said he was straight would probably generate more questions. I could say SO much more, but I'm just going to top it off with this video:

if that's not proof enough I don't know what is.

Kay, the whole thing about being crazy and judge mental about gays is crap. It is basically asking if some dude was straight. It doesn't matter. It is actually quite silly for people to be all weird about it, because every one wants to do their own things, and gay is not bad at all. It's asking if straight is bad. People are weird about it because the majority of the population in the world are man and women couples. They think it's not natural, but hello, I think it has been going on as long as man and women have been on the earth. Not a big deal. I think people should have their own personal relationships with who-ever they want to be with, and people only feel uncomfortable around gays most of the time is because they are not used to that. They have their own beliefs and things they were brought up in. I actually was surprised that Clinton was gay, because he seems masculine to me, and pretty cool. It doesn't mean if your gay that you act like a girl, I think they can choose that. I know a lot of awesome, great, sweet friends that are gay, and I don't see the big deal. Sorry, I just wanted to type that to peoples that were all weird about gays. Ttyl!

It's pretty obvious--I mean, you can just see it in his eyes and general disposition. And, what I've never been able to understand is, how do gay men know so much about women's fashion if they're not even attracted to people of the opposite gender? it makes no sense. It's just unnatural. If homosexuality was to be normal and accepted practice, then how come two people who are of the same gender and have sex together, cannot produce a baby?

um, everyone that tried to use the wikipedia articles as proof should know that anyone can add information to wikipedia. it doesnt have to be true to be published. i thought clinton was gay the first time i watched the show, but now i honestly dont. like some people said, he does get very uncomfortable in the women's underwear section, and he flirts with the female guests a lot. plus, he and stacey are always touching each other. also, stacey seems to handle to more feminine parts of the wardrobe such as the shoes and the skirts and bras and such, while clinton goes more for working with pants or shirts. im not saying that they both dont do both, but they predomintely stick to their areas. i dont think clinton is gay.

    Clinton Kelly
    Image:Bb10mz8d.jpg
    Born February 22, 1969
    Long Island, New York, USA

Clinton Kelly is an American fashion consultant and media personality, known best for his role as a co-host on the makeover reality program What Not to Wear, which broadcasts on The Learning Channel in the United States and Canada.

Kelly is from Long Island, and is of part-Italian ancestry.[citation needed] He graduated from Comsewogue High School in Port Jefferson Station, New York in 1987. During his undergraduate years, Kelly attended Boston College as a Communications major, graduating in 1991. While a student at Boston College, he was the president of the University Chorale. In 2006, Kelly returned to Boston College to teach a masters class. [1] Kelly also holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University.

Kelly honed his fashion expertise during his tenure as a fashion magazine editor for several noted publications. He was the executive editor of DNR, a New York-based weekly men's fashion and retail trade magazine. Prior to that, he was an editor at Marie Claire and a deputy-editor at Mademoiselle, where he was also a contributor under the pseudonym "Joe L’Amour". [2] [3]

Clinton co-hosts What Not to Wear with Stacy London. He is known for his warm humor and stylistic flair. Clinton is less aggressive than Stacy on the show, and often plays "good cop" to Stacy's blunt criticism of guests.

During the mid-1990s, Kelly hosted a program on QVC.

Clinton is openly gay in his personal and professional life, although his sexual orientation is only hinted about on the show. [4]

Maybe he is just Bi. I read one of the answers where they said he is married. I have been married to my wife for 14 years and am totally Bi. Just because your a male who is married to a female does not mean you can not like males too. Regardless, its a fun show and both of the hosts are great. I dont watch the show just because Clinton is TOTALLY HOT, which he is. I watch it because I occasionally learn something and it is entertaining. In fact, I think the show got much better after Wayne left it. Stacy and Clinton just seem to work well together.
Now, if I ever got the chance to meet Clinton I would totally ask him out for a drink and if he said no, then I would ask him to just go underware shopping with me. I wonder if he wears briefs or boxers?

Go to his own personal website www.clintonkelly.com and read the interview in the "About" section. By the end of the interview (in which he interviews himself) he responds to the question "Are you gay?" with a sarcastic "Duh." Thus implying that yes, Clinton Kelly is in fact gay.
