I don't think they do, but I do believe some could favor their sons/daughters not according to their gender, but because of a like ruffryder_26, they might have a stronger bond with each other, a more stronger relationship.

I don't love my son "more" that my daughter we just don't fight as much. I seem to get along with him more so it might seem that way.

no. I have two sons and two daughters. I love them all equally. HOwever there is a difference in the way you react to sons as compared to daughters because you understand your daughters on a different level then your sons, so there is always a bit more *awe* in the way you see your sons...that someone so alien to you came from you...
