My grandma (the dotty one) used to say that there are no pockets in a shroud. She shared all her life and had very little but enjoyed it all in that way. I don't know if it's a paradox, I do think wealth might get in the way of your focus on anything you intend to be devout about. My husband says it's a colossal paradox, he'd rather dictate over my shoulder, while eating my easter egg than get his own account. He says hello.

The Bible makes it clear that the love of money is a problem (1 Tim 6:10)but it does not say that it is wrong to be rich. The problem is when people suggest that all Christians are supposed to be rich, or poor for that matter. Jesus answer was that we shouldn't concern ourselves too much with it (Matt 6:31).
