Traditionally, single women wear flowers on the right side of their hair. As for which flower to wear, floral-store owner Eddie Zaratsian suggests the petite cymbidium or vanda orchid. These flowers last much longer and are sturdier than daisies and most other flower types.
On the Other: Married or in a relationship
A woman in a relationship would wear a flower on the left side of her hair. Likewise, the wedding ring goes on the left hand and a taken man would wear a corsage on the left side.
Bottom Line
You may wear your flower on whichever side you like. However, if you wear it on your right side, a gentleman may approach you thinking you are single.
