Help answer this question below.
Yes, I can usually get it done in under a minute. I have moved onto the 4x4 cube and once tested the 5x5. Its a different story with those ones.
I'm not even smart enough to cheat.
I take the stickers off and move them.....
Once,I did,by chance! :D *+++++*
Yup. but they're a bit tricky to reassemble
No, I cheat every time by taking it apart!!! LOL my friends think I'm so smrt...
Sure. I just used the book. Could never do it without reading how, though.
Nope, that damn cube is fustrating!!
Yes. I just completed one. Of course, I started it three days ago...lol
Yes, at my peak I could do it in 50 seconds (mean average) and my recored was 36.39 seconds. That was all at a pretty young age - people used to bring their cubes in to school and get me to solve it for them. Then my cube broke during one solve and I wasn't able to fix it in the normal way. I brought a new one, but it was too stiff so I lost my touch. I can still solve them (about 1 min 15 average), but not in the same way as I used to, and not as much.
If anyone out there is looking to improve their time I have a couple of tips. Put vaseline of some type of lubricant inbetween the joints of the cube, it will be much easier and smoother to turn. If there's an algorithm you are slow at, just do it over and over for about ten minutes, you'll soon get quicker. Also study the mathematical behaviour of the cube and come up with a couple more complex algorithms, which may only be optional but crucial in a solve. Combine algorithms to skip out any unnecessary turns.
Good luck :D
I have, and I do it daily :)
I have also taught myself the 5x5 cube, and am waiting to find a 4x4 cube in a shop so I can teach myself that on too :)

With a sledge hammer yes.
No, that stupid colorful square out-smarted me every time >:(
No but if you look it up on the Internet it tell you how.
If solving it is throwing out the window then yes i can solve it lol
Given months of time, I may figure it out.
But I'll give up long before then.
yup... But I cheated, I liked taking them apart and then putting them back together again.
It solves it, and I don't get a headache.
My son is one of those kids that can do it in less than 5 minutes.
I can do two layers, but I've never been able to remember the combination for moving around the top pieces.
nope :( does that mean im dumb?
For some reason I only managed to figure out one side, all nine same colours.
i can finish a rubik's cube (without moving the stickers!) in about 3 mins or so. i learned on youtube!!! if you have the patients and the interest u can too!
Its a nice game but I have never completed it ................. but i am trying to solve it ........

Nope!
Yeah i can solve it in under two minutes
Yes, many times. It takes me about three minutes and it helps to relieve stress.
Nope
why, yes, i did. I memorized the cheat sheet and would fix all my friends cubes, everyday at school. They thought I was a genious. lol
No, I've never finished one, but then again I never really tried.
Yeah, i learnt about 2 months ago, now i can do it in 34 seconds
No, but I have solved a four sided version.
Even with cheating, I don't think I'd ever solve that :o)
I have done it a few times, but a good few years ago.
I wouldn't be able to do it now without about 6 months practice.
Yeah. If you only turn it one time to begin with it's easy to solve. I can't seriously solve one though. I have a friend who can do it in 15 seconds or something.
yes, i think it was an accident.
NO!!! i ended up throwing it across the room ha!
Nope, never solved a Rubik's cube to begin with
Are there cheat codes for that?
nope too much patience and smartness
I had 3 faces onces and was so happy that I never touched it again.
Funny you should ask- that's the new fad at my high school. During class, teachers don't take away cell phones or ipods, but rubix cubes. One teacher is to have boasted with saying he has thirty-nine.
Anyway, on to the question.
Yes, but only twice. And it was with one of those regular ones.
My collective logic skill amounts to that of a mayfly, so the answer would have to be no
Never. And believe me, I've tried.
I've only ever gotten one side done.
Good question - no, but i have 3 friends who can complete any standard rubix cube in under a minute.
if you mean completly smashed one, yes!
Personally, I can get the bottom and two levels completed, but no more.
never, i hate those things i don't have enough patiance with them.
Once.
I mostly attribute it to blind luck though.
Yes, I actually memorized the moves to complete it (yes, I had no life as a child), but I would not have the first clue how to do one now.
Yes it took me ages to do it and it was when they first came out,i nearly threw it a few times.
